The pictures of the buildings we don't have are not ours, we have tried to find promo pictures but if that has failed we have borrowed some from the internet. Sylvanian Bakery, first released in 1999, there were plans of re-release it in 2011 but that never happened, not sure if there was a released between there though.
I really like this building. It's very adaptable to your layout; the porch area at the front of the Bakery here can also go at the side and on top of the Bakery as a roof. There are also stairs that go on the left hand side of Bakery to allow access to the top floor. It comes with over 40 accessories. I don't have all the accessories the ones I've bought came with some and slowly we are collecting them all so we can open for business, I have however changed two of these buildings, one into pizzeria and one into Interior shop. I really like that the Orchard cottage or any cottage that size fits on top. It has a take out window and a serving trolley and it feels like the opportunities with this one are endless.
Sylvanian Watermill bakery released 2008
Christopher Apple-Blossom is the baker, getting up early each morning to bake fresh bread for everyone in Sylvania. The dough mixer for his bread is driven by the water mill, this saves Christopher a lot of work! Using old family recipes and the finest ingredients, not only does Christopher produce wonderful tasty bread, he also fills the bakery with delicious fresh baked smells!
This set includes Christopher Apple-Blossom squirrel figure and over 70 pieces the wheel drives the dough mixer and it actually turns, it's a pretty bakery and came with lots of great accessories. Ours came second hand and was missing most of it, we have therefore added what we have found here and there.
Sylvanian School
This was the first school to be released, 1988
It's a very cute building, reminds me little of a church and not much space for students. There's a rope attached to the bell and stairs to climb up the towe, however it's t narrow for any Critter to do that. There are two adorable tiny shelfs on the inside.
We changed ours into a mucic school.
Sylvanian St Francis school release 2001
This was first released in Japan then with a green roof 1997, they had several very cute items relesed with it like playgrounds and accesories. Ours is an UK one. I love that it has a library with it and is so beautifully made to be in a tree. We do have a JP playground (1997) and my girls love it.
