Mystique Valley
Our Sylvanian village layout
This adventure all started with a hint of a challenge or I took it as a challenge and since I'm not known to run from one I took it. So one weekend in the fall was picked where I had no plans. We live in a Nordic country and only have few hours of good daylight at this time of the year. I took almost all our buildings and made a village, about 50 buildings were left in their shelf though, there simply wasn't room for them all. I was so lucky that a friend from the Sylvanian Forum Sylvanako offered to help and made magic with my pictures, isn't the world wonderful that friends can help out and still live so far apart. He takes so pretty pictures and can be seen here. Also you can see my tour around the village on the forum here. It was so much fun to do this and see our village come to life not to mention after Sylvanako put his mark on them.
I want to show you how much a background does and all the work was eally put into this with few before and after pictures
Here he has put pictures together to make the Diorama picture
I had white cloth where I wanted the river to be.
See the reflection in the water and the sand just under the riverline
Just magic
For fun here are some early on, it soon came clear that space would be a problem.
Then some that I liked but didn't make the cut, it could be because of the light, I had a very narrow window of daylight, the angle, others from same area were better or simple because the line had to be cut somewhere.
Then at last lets see how the diorama picture has changed, little by little but to really see the difference you need to click on the pictures.
