Hidden Hollow

I'm so glad that this area finally got to the stage where it's just to add families as they move in. I have not done much of decorating the homes that will wait til dark winter days.
Hidden Hollow is a pretty little village with a beautiful beach. All the cottages there are built in the same style and the residents are very friendly and used to help each other. Duke Corgy was the mayor of Hidden Hollow. When he got elected HH was on a fast track down critters were moving away, no jobs and they didn't have budget to maintain minimal service. Duke believed he could turn things around and safe HH from disappearing, in other words he had a plan. He went to a meeting with Bill and Peter where he laid down his plan, few days later he got their answer and now it was time to involve the residents of HH. He wanted to merge HH and MV. MV would gain houses for many of their residents in need for homes, MV would provide HH with new school and health service immediately and ad HH to their tourist plan which would open possibilities for businesses in HH. Duke would be Deputy Mayor and keep on working for the HH critters.
Percy and his crew have restored the cottages that were savable and new ones have been built but all have to be built in HH cottage style no exceptions. It's expected to be around 30 homesw when finished. There's new school, pre-school/nursery and new medical clinic. New shops were opening and old ones dusted to life. There's regular busses and horse carts (they are really popular with many of the tourists) between MV and HH.
A really good friend of mine Sylvanako helped with some photos, brought them to life so you could see how Hidden Hollow looks like in my mind.

Being MV Deputy Mayor makes Duke spend his working hours in mostly in MV but one day of the week Duke opens his home for the HH critters to hear them out and work out any problems or worries. He's very open for ideas that can benefit HH and no one leaves feeling they weren't heard. He loves to walk around HH with his family and see what's happening, he feels proud when he sees new cottages or business being opened not that he's boastful for that he's to down to earth.

Sitka is one of those that is thrilled with how HH is devolping. He works as the beach area care taker something his boys are very happy with and run down to the beach to him when ever they can.
Tanana saw an ad from Gabryle Walnut where he was looking for a house keeper, she never regrets her dicision to start working for him not only is he a very nice and polite critter, his kids found their way to her heart and she loves to help them she's tries to be careful to not take over Gabryle parenting role but rather to guide him.

Sidney is the new hired Sanitation Manager n MV. Currently undermanned but 2 more workers are on their way to MV with their families. Then with each area manager doing his share and Sidney newest input that each home and business will be motivated to keep their sidewalk and surroundings clean and tidy it should be enough.
Even though their home isn't large for 7 critters, they love it and are grateful for Penny suggesting Sidney for the job which secured them with this home. Having 5 kids makes free and good education and Health care really is a priority to get a nice home on top of that is a great bonus.

When Peppa heard that her older sister Pepperika was expecting twins as a single parent she quickly packed her bag and took the next bus to MV, she has never regretted it for a second. Pepperika is so grateful.and not sure how she would have managed withour her. She works at Bonnu Beach ice cream shop and because of Peppa help she can take odd hours and doesn't have to worry about things at home. Peppa works there to from time to time which George loves and tries to go to her there when ever he can because Peppa has really difficulty with saying no to him.

Sylvia is Rosetti and Daphne Cream sister and like them she works at the Cake shop. Mark also works there but like he says he would never be able to put a cake together and Sylvia agrees. Instead he takes care of the books and marketing and is doing really well at that, the orders just keep pouring in.

Anton is Thomas twin, it was through him he learnt about MV. He's also a paramedic and took his driving licence just like Thomas but now he's learning to be a doctor along with his work. He drives the ambulance when Thomas is off but his main job is working at the country clinic with Pierre. Florence works at the MV hospital but is Yvette replacement when needed. Antony helped and supported Florence through her Nurse school and she's not sure she could have managed without him and not only financially. Where she came from schools are very limited so they decided to offer Hannah Florence adoptive sister to come and live with them. When they arrived at Florence parents they also found Ellie and Gabi, her parents were trying to find homes for them and in the end they also came home with Antoni and Florence, they just couldn't leave them behind.

Juan ha always loved to drive and Liliana is an educated teacher When Juan saw the ad for Hidden Hallow Kindergarten/School it didn't take much for him to convince Liliana they should apply. Now he drives around the countryside in the School bus every morning and picks up the kids and back home again. Beside that the School goes on day trips very regularly. Liliana Loves history and reading, like her co-workers she tries to not only use the classroom but the nature around.

Lisa has always loved sweets and started making them young at age and has mastered the taste of being deliciously sweet without going overboard. Her sweet stand at the market is really popular and she's even thinking of expanding. Jack is surprisingly not very found of sweets but loves football and running, perhaps he's got a good practice when his mother would ask him to help with his younger siblings.

Gwyneth is one of the new teachers in M.V. Allong with Mathilda Brightfield they run the Forest Nursery pre-school. Gwyneth thinks it's a wonderful work to have and consider her to have been lucky. Britney loves dancing, specially ballet and her most concern was that M.V. didn't have a ballet school but she practiced at home every day and now she heard that there's a ballet school opening soon in MV. She 's really excited and just really hopes it's not just a rumor and if s she's good enough to get in so practices even harder now.

George really loves to read so his favorite thing to do with the boys is to read fro them. He makes sure the boys have everything they need, well aware of being a single parent. Dennis uses the time his dad is reading to get into trouble, at least that's how George feels.
George also loves to be a postman, meeting people all day and every day bringing someone something they've been waiting for,
always makes him smile.
Richard is an Electrician, he's the most quiet one of the Catwood family but very good at what he does. Sophie likes to help around at the orphanage when ever she can something that little Ricky loves since she takes him with her.

Ben has always been a joyful chap, his mom said that he was born with a smile. You can always hear him humm when he's getting ready for work. When he comes home he usually had a funny story or two to tell Sherry. Biscuit goes with her dad when ever she can, she wants to do that full time when her school is over, unfortunately her mom isn't sharing that dream.

Amber used to work at the school cafeteria but when HH starting growing again she saw her chance it wasn't without some serious thinking though. She's been putting everything she could aside to make sure she could get Andromedia all the education she would want in the future but with the speed that saving was going it would not help allot. So she decided to take her saving out and open her own business so now she sells delicious doughnut, coffee and fresh smoothies by the beach and is doing really well. Andromedia has always been a scholar, loves to read and learn new things she dreams of become a doctor. Even though MV has a great school system and really helps the students to get further education with scholar ships and more she and her mom know it will not be financially easy so through her mom (after promising it will not effect her grades) she works at the school cafeteria few times a week saving up for her future. Melissa has not shown much interest in books at least not yet, she likes pretty clothes more, Amber hopes that seeing her and Andromedia work so hard for her future she learns that everything is possible if you set your mind to it. Melody just like to play at the moment without the care in the world.

Perkin Harvey has always had an eye to make good deals something he puts in use when when ordering for MV schools or other institutes as MV Purchasing Manager. Dorothy nags a little about getting a larger home specially after the twins came and Perkins kind of agrees and is looking for a bigger home for them but knowing how the housing situation is he also knows it might take a while. Liberty steals the scene where ever she goes she just has this relaxing bright glow about her. Even though Dorothy nags about the size she loves hearing the sound of her family all around her, growing up with no siblings made her home very silent.

Stella is a real quiet easy going mouse. She loves her twin girls and is so proud of them, Millie is the opposite of her mom seeking attention when and wherever she can, Lillie is more like her mom.
Stella has an arrangement with Bob, he brings her fresh vegetables every morning for her stand direct from the farmers. She's busy all day both with locals and the ones visiting the beach. At the end of the day she has an arrangement with Bonnie Sandy and Elly Bramble with her "leftovers".
Pierre Periwinkle the doctor in Hidden Hollow and with the help of his wife Yvette they run the HH Country Clinic. He's kind of an old school and loves to take his bike and do home visits, and he always does at least once a week, visiting the new born, elder critters that still live at home and if he knows someone been sick just to make sure everyone is ok. He really likes this close to his patient relationship it gives him and them. He's really glad to have Antony Nightingale working with them, knowing the clinic is in good hands when he's on his bike and if he takes a holiday. Yvette has always been a bit bosy so running the clinic is just up her alley. They live in a cottage above the clinic with their three girls. Vibecca likes school and wants to be a writer, she takes her dream really seriously and is always is always writing down her thoughts, ideas or her parents. Zoe has other dream, she wants to be a Polar bear something her parents can't wait for her to grow up from, well she has to right? A writer to a Polar bear you have to wonder what Louise dream will be, one thing for sure their girls don't lack creativity.

It's not been easy for Bonnie, short after her husband left she found out she was pregnant and as fate would have it twins. He had always been difficult to live with so in a way maybe it was a blessing he left it certainly changed her life to the better. She sold everything moved to HH and opened a ice cream shop, who doesn't love ice cream on the beach she thought and she was right it's been a success, so much that she had to hire Pepperine Milk and her daughter to help out.
Amber took it really hard when her dad left and blames the twins even though her mom has tried to tell her that it isn't. She does though help her mom and looks after the small ones for an hour a day so her mom can get her coffee break which Bonnie loves,. That hour after work with the kids upstairs playing, sipping delicious hot coffee just surrounded by her own thoughts is enough to fuel her up for everything

Michetta has always loved to bake, with time and many failures she has to say it mildly mastered the baking of a perfect bread and that's what the critters from other corners of MV come to her bakery for, it has become known as the Brickery Bread in MV. It's not the only think they have to offer in their Bakery but by far the most favored one. Their latest addition "Pizza delivered right to your door" 3 afternoons a week has also been a hit. They split the day up with Michetta starting the day early (well not that early as their customer are mostly in the afternoon so no need to open up in crack of dawn) making the dough for the new day and start the baking. Montou comes in around noon helping with the most rushing hour ahead. At the end of the day Bob usually comes by to pick up the leftovers from that day and brings them to the Orphanage and/or Northern Lights, that way nothing goes to waste. While Montou starts his first Pizza deliveries Michetta makes the inventory seeing if anything is needed and helps with the pizza baking, making enough pizza dough for Montou to use. Montou finishes the day not only with making the pizzas as the orders come in and delivers but he also cleans the bakery after the day and makes it all ready for his pretty wife to start all over again next morning.
They live in a cottage above their bakery with their two adorable babies, Pita and Bazin. Usually Montou starts the day with them and takes them to the nursery then Michetta picks them up lets them play while she enjoys nice cup of tee before giving them their dinner.

Franklin shares a clinic with Elaine Brightfield and her Pharmacy, arrangement they are both very glad for.
Dr. Franklin Periwinkle didn't start his carrier as a dentist he used to travel with a band and sing it wasn't until his teenage love and wife got seriously ill that he put that microphone on the shelf and finished his dentist degree. It's not at all unusual that he sings at his work he just can't help it. If he only knew how the ladies go all soft around him and get butterflies. He still loves his wife dearly and isn't ready to move on.
He lives with his two children above the clinic. Aretha loves to sing and often she and her dad sing together but Franklin is very straight line about her doing her study and get education, and not only focus on the singing.

Elaine is a pharmacist and runs the HH Pharmacy. Sharing the space with Franklin Periwinkle is going really well and they get allong great. Frazier is a Botanist and writes books, he specializes in Botanist schoolbooks. He recently started to try to make children books with an botanist learning twist. He spends allot of the day in researching and writing notes before he's finally ready to sit down and start the actual writing.

Rikki is a very lovely and a quiet mouse. To no surprise her favorite color is pink and she loves that she has three girls she can surround that color around. She doesn't enjoy cooking and loves to eat out, she even has a one weekday as a pizza day where they order from the local Pizza delivery place. When eating at home she likes to do it outside in fact she just has minimal kitchen in her cottage. She loves to visit her friend Amber Sunshine and share a coffee with her while the kids play.
Having a mother running a toy stall really isn't bad and the girls have more toys than they will ever need, their favorite time though is playing outside.
This was my first thought of HH and how it should look like.
