Who is the real boss in MV

Bill wanted to visit the stable area, it was well on its way and only two stables left, first five were done and critters already moved in. He decided to go this afternoon when most of the critters would be home after work. Later that day when heading over to the stables he thought about the place and what still needed to be done there, he wanted a care taker for the place and Jerry Barker had told him that some tourist showed interest in visiting it so maybe someone who could show the tourists around since he didn't think the residents would appreciate strangers just walking around all day, but who? When he arrived he was happy to see that Webber was on his way home and they had a nice chat. He saw that Buckley was there probably looking for a material for a book.

He saw one of the Mcburows family, he surely hoped they would move to MV, they needed a digger, Bill didn't like to call for workers from other villages. Then of course Percy, Bob and Rolf were there, doing some finishing touches before starting on next stable. He was glad that Rolf had decided to move to MV, plenty of work for him here.

On his way home he had to admit that the residents seemed very happy and even Buttercup aunts smiled at him but none of the Critters living there at the moment could be the caretaker, it's not a huge responsibility mainly making sure it was clean, tidy and that the Critters had someone to turn to if there were troubles, then of course if they would organize some tourist trips. Most Critters there were already busy with their work.... He needed to find someone, this was to much for Slydale on top of the Forest area.

Few days later, Beth got a letter in the mail from her sister. In the mail she told her that her husband O'Clover had won the lottery, twice in a row, not huge but if they were careful it could last them for many years. O'Clover had quit his work and they are now looking around for a cheap nice place and if they knew of anything that would suit them.

When Wanda came home from a daily visit to her sisters she was very serious and told Bill that they needed to talk. She then demanded that he would offer the last stable to O'Clover and that right away. She would not listen to any argument and he better send them the letter first thing in the morning. He would also offer him the caretaker work so he wouldn't get bored and that would help them make the money last to be able to live in MV for many years to come without any worries.

Poor Bill didn't see any way around this, no matter how he turned it. He knew that if he refused, Wanda wouldn't talk to him for days and even if that could be a relief he didn't want to make her unhappy and this sure seemed to be something not only her but her sisters also wanted very much. But how was he going to survive??? Three of them was bad enough but four!!!

It was with heavy steps he walked over to Sam Next morning. On his way he thought that maybe just maybe O'Clover didn't want to move to MV so there was still little hope but if his wife was anything like her sisters that wouldn't matter...

On his way back to Town Hall he wondered how he would tell Peter that he had just promise one of the last stable away, knowing that the Mcburrows brothers had been asking about them??? Maybe they could find another old stable and move it to the stable area??? To his excuse neither of the Mcburrows brothers could be the care taker so maybe he could turn it that he had found a most needed care taker???
